We are spearheaded by the fanciful and keen JG Lijauco. Her ardor for lifestyle events and multimedia turned into rich skills and experience. Her desire to share the knowledge fostered her to set up Roving Brands on 2015. The company was renamed XPOCITY EVENTS MANAGEMENT officially on March 3, 2018.
She engaged with lifestyle event management soon after graduating from one of the Philippines’ most distinguished educational institutions, Centro Escolar University – Manila with the degree of Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication major in Broadcasting with Executive Public Relations and Advertising Studies.
In the local scene, her very first event management job is with Broadcast Veteran, Veronica Baluyut-Jimenez’s firm in Alabang, Muntinlupa City, Philippines. She acted as Marketing Executive responsible for overseeing Roving Cinemas, School Tours, and other Marketing projects for Unilever Philippines, Universal Robina Corporation, CMC-Best Foods Philippines and San Miguel Corporation. She had the chance to work with some of the few award-winning Advertising Agencies in the Philippines – Publicis Ama, Inc., Ace Saatchi & Saatchi, and Ogilvy. Some few years later, JG took a key Marketing position with Diethelm Keller Siber Hegner (DKSH Philippines), a famed Multinational company specializing in Distribution of Pharmaceutical and Nutritional Products such as Mead Johnson, Sanofi, Lundbeck, Unilab and Berna.
In June 2005, she fortunately landed to an employment opportunity in the United Arab Emirates with one of Dubai Internet City’s eminent companies – Global Information Technologies, where she created the Dubai Digital Guide Project with its Directors for a Government endeavor. After a year, she joined one of Dubai’s Public Joint Stock Property Development Company – Union Properties where she teamed up with their Directors, Project Managers, Multimedia professionals, and Advertising agencies on various colossal events within the UAE and abroad. MIPIM-Cannes France, International Property Week, Motorshows and F1 Race events held in Europe and the Middle East, just to name a few. JG’s know-how continued with one of UAE’s prime companies, The Bin Zayed Group, as Executive Assistant to the Group Director of Communications where she successfully led various events for Sheikh Khaled Bin Zayed Al Nehayan. Her last job abroad is with Architectural Interior Design firm – Silverfox Singapore as Public Relations Manager overseeing their Marketing & PR activities, web content, corporate presentations, and business development. She has helped develop her firm’s initial pitch offerings and brand stories based on qualitative market analysis which directly led to multi-year contracts.
JG, though working with a team of experts in the industry, identified herself clearly through aligning creative functions. She developed her own organizing system for producing multi-disciplinary creative work that supported strategic plans within a fast-paced start-up environment. She consistently led communication and presentation efforts with client-side Management Level Executives from different industries. She facilitated strong project management and prioritized her clients’ strategic goals. She is excellent in negotiating and managing all vendor and supplier relationships focusing within clients’ internal budget.
She designed Marketing, Sales and Advertising materials in Photoshop, used across social media, website and merchandise platforms including stickers, brochures, web advertisements, product pictures, and other creative requirements or opportunities. Created and supervised production of printed materials in support of product awareness, brand identity and sales.
JG created Public Relations plans to increase brand recognition, contracts, sales and general exposure to target market. She managed and monitored social media platforms (i.e. Facebook and Instagram) targeting results to increase according to client preference. She is an active moderator for some social media groups and continuously contributing to its group deeds. She is a Moderator to some well-known groups online such as Girls Gone Global by Dear Alyne, Ambassador of Vibely, member of communities such as the Hubspot-Google Philippines Users Group, Public Speakers Guild, Connected Women, WCA Travel, to name a few.
With fierce determination and passion for helping others, JG can provide individual and team coaching on certain topics that will help them unlock their potentials. She recently started an entrepreneur group called EntrepreNEWr Circle Philippines aiming to build more high-performance young entrepreneurs in the country and the Filipina Content Creators, a community targeting to grow the number of Filipino women digital creators making valuable content online.
She actively participates in different charity events for children with cancer, blood-letting campaigns, and some fund-raising activities for the poor, mentally challenged and people with disabilities. JG loves to travel and meet new inspiring connections.
JG is also a Resource Speaker who is available to provide her proficiency on these topics: Social Media Responsibility, Social Media Strategy, Content Creation, Content Marketing, Personal Online Branding/Digital Personality, Surviving A Toxic Workplace, living without Depression (Stop the Stigma PH), Bullying Prevention (Stop the Hate PH) and Discovering your Passion.
She was given a full scholarship to the Dear Alyne Women’s Business Retreat 2020 held in Bali, Indonesia to join 21 women content creators from different countries and celebrated content creators and Social Media influencers – Alyne Tamir, Nas Yassin, Agon Hare and Justin Amores of NAS DAILY, Sabrina Lovino (justonewayticket), Janet Newenham (journalistontherun), Drew Binsky, George Mavrakis (Coralfish12g) and Maneesh Seth (Pavlok creator) in their quest to enhance content creation. She recently earned her Social Media, Inbound Marketing and Content Strategy Certifications from HubSpot Academy – a worldwide leader in inbound, marketing, sales and customer service/support training company.
